President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the planting tree sapling ceremony in the July 15 Democracy Museum Opposite the Presidential Complex as a part of the National Forestation Day.

Noting that different forestation campaigns were organized in different parts of the country after last summer's forest fires, President Erdoğan said, "The Ministry of National Education launched a sapling donation campaign for every teacher in the country on the occasion of Nov. 24. We will donate 1000 saplings and I believe that 1 million 200 saplings will be planted as a part of this campaign."
