The "Cultural Heritage Journey in The Footsteps of Our Roots Activity" for Bahtiyar Vahabzade Social Sciences High School Students ve Hümeyra Ökten Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School was held on December 10, 2024 in Adana Olgunlaşma Institution with the coordination of EU and International General Directorate, UNESCO Turkish National Commission, General Directorate of Secondary Education and General Directorate of Lifelong Learning.
General Directorate Tuba KORKMAZ and UNESCO Turkish National Commission President Öcal OĞUZ made the opening speeches of the event, organized with the aim of introducing our tangible and intangible cultural heritage to students and revealing the role of this heritage in our social identity. In the acitivity, UTMK representatives presented about tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Türkiye and then students participated in the workshops.
Students had the opportunity to come into close contact with our cultural heritage by working in fashion design, handicrafts, art design, weaving, food and beverage and wood carving workshops.
