Director General Tuba Korkmaz received Mahroo Arshad, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara.

Korkmaz emphasized our deep historical ties with the friendly and brotherly country Pakistan and touched upon the issues that will increase our cooperation in the field of education and culture. 

In cooperation with our Ministry and the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, in order to improve the relations between Turkey and Pakistan and to inform our youth, the subject of the essay competition called "Cinnah Young Writers Award", which was organized for the 6th time this year with the participation of 11th-12th grade high school students across Turkey, was chosen as "Two Great Poets of the 20th Century: Muhammad Iqbal and Mehmet Akif". Forty-one works from 24 provinces participated in the competition and as a result of the evaluations, a total of 6 works were determined to receive 3 degrees and 3 honorable mentions.

During the meeting, mutual obligations regarding the award ceremony were discussed and the Pakistani side was informed that the award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 14.00 at the Ministry. The meeting ended with the presentation of gifts and a photo session.
