Duties of the European Union and Projects Coordination Department are as follows;
1) To carry out EU harmonization activities.
2) To ensure communication between the Ministry and EU institutions and organizations as the EU contact unit.
3) To carry out studies to introduce the education system and policies of our country to EU member/candidate countries and the education system and policies of EU member/candidate countries to the Ministry.
4) To formulate the Ministry´s opinion on the draft reports prepared by EU institutions and organizations for the education sector and on the documents prepared by other public institutions and organizations on the EU acquis and to present them to those concerned.
5) Carrying out documentation and reporting activities related to the EU, organizing seminars, trainings or meetings within the scope of information and promotion activities.
6) To coordinate bilateral and multilateral international projects with the EU and international institutions/organizations.
7) To ensure the coordination of projects carried out by other units of the Ministry and based on international cooperation.
8) To perform other duties assigned by the General Manager.
