JANUARY PRODUCTION CAPACITY FIGURES OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS INCREASED BY 209 PERCENT
When compared to the figures of January 2021, revolving fund income of vocational education increased by 209 percent and reached 101 Million and 307 thousand liras in January of 2022.The Ministry of National Education continues to increase production capacity of vocational high schools that improves practical skills of its students and makes important contributions to the country's economy. In 2020, the income earned from the production of vocational high schools was 503 million 197 thousand and 847 liras. In 2021, the income of these schools increased by 131 percent when compared to previous year and reached 1 billion 162 million 574 thousand and 527 liras. Increase in the production income continued to increase in the first month of 2022.
Goal is to earn 1.5 billion liras income from the production of vocational high schools in 2022
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that the Ministry has been taken steps in an effort to reinforce the production and employment relation adding that increasing production capacity is an important part of this effort.
"In 2021, the income of production from vocational high schools increased by 131 percent and reached 1 billion and 162 million when compared to the figures of previous year. Our goal for 2022 is to reach 1.5 billion income. January 2022 figures revealed that we will easily achieve our goal."
Vocational high schools in İstanbul, Ankara and Gaziantep earned highest income
Vocational high schools in İstanbul, Ankara and Gaziantep earned the highest income in 2022. Özer said that vocational high schools in İstanbul earned 11.6 million liras income, schools in Ankara earned 8.5 million liras and schools in Gaziantep earned 5.1 million liras in 2022.
Ankara Altındağ Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School Ranked First
Ankara Altındağ Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked first in the list of production capacity of schools with 2 million and 567 thousand lira income while İstanbul Büyükçekmece Kumburgaz Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked second with 2 million lira income and Gaziantep Şehitkamil Beylerbeyi Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked third with 1.9 million lira income.
