MINISTER OZER MEETS WITH MINISTER OF INTERIOR OF HUNGARY SANDOR PINTER
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer held a meeting between delegations with Minister of Interior of Hungary Sandor Pinter as part of his official visit to Hungary.Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, stated that education constitutes an important opportunity area in terms of furthering the cooperation between the two countries.
Reminding that Turkish students show great interest in Hungary, especially at the higher education level, Özer said that they signed an agreement with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto to make the scholarship program inclusive, Özer said, "I would like to thank you for the scholarship opportunity you have provided on behalf of my country. It is apparent that these contributions have enabled our societies to know each other better and get closer."
Stating that being the vocational education in the first place, Türkiye is open to cooperation and experience transfer with Hungary, in all fields of education, Özer said that they established seven international Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools and started to accept students from six Balkan countries. Özer said that they can also enable students in Hungary to benefit from this opportunity.
Pinter, on the other hand, stated that he was pleased to host Minister Özer and his delegation, and noted that they wanted to improve their cooperation with Türkiye in every field and to work on teaching Turkish and Hungarian.
