The meeting, which was also attended by our Director General for European Union and Foreign Relations, Mr. Ünal Eryılmaz, provided an opportunity to exchange views on the educational relations between the two countries.
Held in a cordial atmosphere, the discussion focused on the current cooperation and potential opportunities in the field of education between Türkiye and Iraq. It was emphasized that the historical and cultural ties shared by the two countries would be further strengthened through educational partnerships.
Minister Tekin expressed Türkiye's readiness to share its educational experience with our friendly and brotherly country, Iraq, and stressed his openness to all forms of joint initiatives that contribute to the development of qualified human resources. Ambassador Al-Lachmawi noted that initiatives in the field of education would help future generations better understand each other and would serve to strengthen bilateral relations on a lasting basis.
