SPECIAL PROGRAM FROM MEB TO TEACHERS ON THE OCCASION OF NOVEMBER 24 TEACHERS' DAY
A special program, including various events in Ankara and Istanbul, was prepared by the Ministry of National Education for teachers from 81 provinces on the occasion of November 24, Teachers' Day.Events will start in Ankara on November 22, with the participation of teachers who make a difference in their profession selected from all provinces.
An exhibition will be opened at the Kızılay Metro Art Gallery, where the winning works will be included in the photography contest held among teachers themed "Education through the Eyes of Teachers" held in 81 provinces. The winners will be given awards.
Teachers who made a difference in their profession and the relatives of martyred teachers, selected from 81 provinces, will plant saplings in the "100th Anniversary Education Memorial Forest" after visiting the "Martyr Teachers Monument".
As part of historical and cultural tours, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Ethnography Museum, Ulucanlar Prison Museum, 1st and 2nd Parliamentary Building of Türkiye, Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque and Museum and Taceddin Dervish Lodge will be visited.
A dinner will be given in honor of teachers and relatives of martyred teachers with the participation of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin in the evening.
Teachers will also visit the Nation's Library of the Presidency, the Beştepe National Mosque, 15 July Democracy Museum and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).
In the evening of the same day, a dinner will be given to the relatives of the martyred teachers at the Başkent Teacher's House. Hayati İnanç will have a program about martyrship.
Teachers will visit Anıtkabir together with the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin on November 24.
Special program will be organized in Istanbul too
Following the program in Ankara, teachers will be hosted in Istanbul on 24 and 25 November with a special program consisting of historical, cultural and artistic activities.
As part of the events held in İstanbul, teachers will visit historical, cultural and natural areas of Istanbul such as Topkapı Palace Museum, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Square and the Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam.
The teachers will visit the BAYKAR R&D Center afterwards.
Teachers who make a difference in their profession, selected from 81 provinces, are also expected to be accepted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş.
